First, you are given to option to play either full screen or in a window; the choice is up to you. Next, click on the start button and choose how many chips you would like to put up for the game. After that, simply click the deal button and the game will start!
How to Play Blackjack
Blackjack is a game that combines skill with luck. The rules are relatively easy to learn and hard to let go. A player is given a set of cards which they then bet against the dealer. The goal is for each person to see how close to the number 21 they can get to, without going over.
Each of the numbered cards have the exact value that is listed on then. The ace card can either be used for 1 or 11 points, it is up to the player. The King, Queen, and Jack cards are all worth 10 points each. If both set of cards equals the same amount, it is called a push, and no winner is decided.
The dealer will shuffle the deck after the bets have been placed, giving each player two cards. One of these cards lies face up, being visible to everyone at the table while the other is hidden. Each player is then given the opportunity to get another card or keep what they have. They are able to keep adding cards until they decide to stop or they go over. Once they go over 21, their bet is lost.
There is also what is called a natural 21, which is an Ace combined with a 10 point card. If this happens, the player instantly gets 3:2, at most casinos. If the dealer does not have a natural 21, he must start giving out cards to the other players.
The dealer does not have the option to choose whether to draw another card or not. Given the rules, the dealer must draw if his point total is less than 17. If it is less than 17, he must draw until he gets to 17. The reason why the dealer does not draw after that is because if he busts, then all remaining players at the table win their bets.
Of course, each casino may have their own take on how the points are given and what cards may be taken. Be sure to know how each casino works so you don't get blindsided by a rule you weren't aware of. In the end, Blackjack is a fun game that combines luck and skill, making it appealing to players of all ages and races.
